Algert Coldiron Investors (ACI) is a boutique asset management firm based in San Francisco. We manage equity long-only, active extension (130/30) and market-neutral strategies. ACI was founded in 2002 and is 100% employee-owned.

 

Clients. ACI manages money for a variety of institutional clients. These include: public and corporate pension plans, foundations/endowments, hedge fund of funds and family offices.

Investment Process. We employ a systematic, fundamental investment process. Stock selection ideas are driven by our research in accounting and behavioral finance. We implement these ideas systematically, removing emotion from buy and sell decisions.

 

People. ACI founders have worked together since 1997 and are former managing directors of Barclays Global Investors quantitative equity business. Our core investment team has been together since 2004 and is consistently rated by industry specialists as among the best in the quantitative equity business.
